2026년 수상자 Fuhito Kojima 교수

연세대학교는 조락교 동문(1955년 경제학과 입학)께서 쾌척하신 기금으로 2007년 조락교경제학상을 제정하여 매년 시상하여 왔으며, 조락교경제학상은 세계적으로 권위 있는 경제학 분야 학술상으로 자리매김하고 있습니다.

2026년 제17회 조락교경제학상은 매칭이론의 실용적인 발전과 실행에 대한 공로로 고지마 후히토(小島武仁) 교수(도쿄대학교)에게 수여됩니다.

고지마 교수는 매칭 이론과 시장 설계 분야를 선도하는 학자로서, 대규모 시장과 분배적 제약과 같은 현실적인 요소들을 갖는 매칭 시장의 특징을 연구함으로써 해당 분야를 발전시켜 왔습니다. 또한 자신의 이론적 지식을 바탕으로 일본의 전공의 매칭과 보육원 아동 배정 등의 실제 매칭 및 자원 배분 메커니즘의 개선에 기여해 왔습니다.

The R. K. Cho Economics Prize was established in 2007 by Yonsei University and has since become a globally recognized and prestigious award.

The 2026 R. K. Cho Economics Prize will be awarded to Professor Fuhito Kojima (University of Tokyo) for the practical development and implementation of matching theory.

Professor Kojima is a leading scholar in the fields of matching theory and market design. He has developed these fields by studying practical aspects of matching markets such as large markets and distributional constraints. Building on his theoretical knowledge, he has contributed to the improvement of real-world matching and allocation mechanisms, including medical residency programs and nursery school admissions in Japan.
